Rainbow Chard: Fireworks Organic Seed

Name: Rainbow Chard: Fireworks

Latin Name: Beta Vulgaris

Description: A beautiful mixture of chard in multiple colours (red, purple, orange, yellow and white). The leaves of this chard are mostly green. Even after cooking, the stems maintain their lovely colour.

Seed Origin: Netherlands

Sowing: March to August

Harvesting: May to October

How To Grow Rainbow Chard From Seed: Sow the seeds directly outside in prepared drills. The drills should be 20cm apart. Sprinkle the seeds thinly into the drill. Cover with soil and keep damp.

After the seedlings establish, thin them out to leave a spacing of 15cm between plants. The leaves of the thinned plants can be eaten as the baby leaves. Chard baby leaves can be picked and eaten in as little as 4 weeks.

When Rainbow Chard is fully mature, pick the outside stalks as you need them, to keep the plants producing more leaves and stalks.

Seed count is approximate.
